Nu-Way Boiler Servicing & PPM Contracts — South East England
Regular servicing of Nu-Way forced draught burners isn’t optional — it’s how you protect your equipment investment, keep your site compliant, and avoid the far greater cost of an unplanned breakdown. Nu-Way themselves recommend annual servicing as a minimum for all gas and oil burner models.
Boiler Burner Services provide specialist Nu-Way servicing and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) contracts for industrial and commercial sites across London, Surrey, Hampshire and the wider South East.
What's Included in a Nu-Way Annual Service
Our Nu-Way service visits follow the manufacturer’s recommended procedures and go beyond a basic visual inspection. A full annual service includes:
- Combustion head inspection, clean and reset — removing carbon deposits, checking electrode condition and gap, replacing worn components
- Flue gas combustion analysis — CO2, O2, CO and temperature measurement, efficiency calculation, air/fuel ratio adjustment
- Gas valve train inspection — solenoid valve function, gas pressure checks, valve proving operation, regulator and governor settings
- Safety device testing — limit thermostats, pressure switches, flame safeguard lockout, all interlock circuits
- Fan motor and blower check — current draw, bearing condition, air intake filter clean
- Ignition system check — electrodes, HT leads, transformer output
- Control box function check — burner sequence verification, modulation response (where applicable)
- Oil system check (for NOL/MDFL models) — pump pressure, nozzle condition, filter change, oil train integrity
- Full combustion efficiency record and service certificate
Why a Specialist Nu-Way Service Engineer Matters
Not every Gas Safe engineer has the knowledge to correctly service a Nu-Way forced draught burner. The combustion analysis, valve train settings and safety interlock checks require model-specific knowledge. An incorrect air/fuel ratio setting can:
- Increase fuel consumption by 5-15% or more
- Cause accelerated combustion head wear
- Create carbon monoxide risk if combustion is too rich
- Lead to burner lockouts and production interruptions
Our engineers have been working on Nu-Way equipment for over 20 years. We know the model-specific quirks, common wear points and correct settings for each series — and we carry the right parts to address issues found during a service visit rather than requiring a return trip.
PPM Contracts for Nu-Way Equipment
A planned preventative maintenance contract removes the administrative burden of arranging annual services and gives you predictable maintenance costs. Our PPM agreements include:
- Scheduled annual service visit(s) at a time that suits your operations
- Full service documentation and combustion records for your compliance file
- Preferential labour rates for any call-out repairs needed between service visits
- Priority response for breakdown attendance
- Service reminder notifications — we track your service due dates so you don’t have to
- Multi-site contracts available with consolidated invoicing
PPM contracts can be structured to include parts cover for common consumable items. Ask us about full-coverage options when requesting a quote.
Compliance and Warranty Requirements
Annual servicing is not just best practice — it’s a requirement in several important contexts:
- Manufacturer warranty— Nu-Way’s warranty conditions require annual servicing by a competent engineer. A gap in service records can void warranty claims on equipment failures.
- Insurance— Many commercial property and business interruption insurance policies require evidence of regular boiler maintenance. We provide the documentation your insurers need.
- Regulatory inspections— Sites subject to food standards, pharmaceutical, environmental or health and safety inspections will often need to demonstrate heating system maintenance records.
- Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations— Applies to all commercial gas appliances and requires proper maintenance by competent persons.
Servicing Coverage
We service Nu-Way equipment across the South East including London, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent, West Sussex and Berkshire. Multi-site operators with facilities spread across the region are welcome — we can coordinate service visits to minimise disruption across your portfolio.
